Grading Scale for Elementary Visual Arts
All students kindergarten through 5th grade students will receive a grade in art. Students in K - 2 will receive two grades, one for Demonstrates concepts and skills and the second grade is for participation/behavior. In grades 3- 5 each student will receive one letter that show both conduct and mastery of content for that 9 weeks. The grades are based off of Round Rock ISD grading policies.
Students in grades 3 - 5 will receive one letter grade. Those are listed below:
E=Excellent
S=Satisfactory
N-Needs Improvement
U=Unsatisfactory
Students in grades K - 2 will receive two number grades . Those are listed below:
4=Understandings go beyond grade level expectation
3=Exhibits mastery of skill and concept
2=Exhibits skill and concept with minimal guidance
1=Exhibits skill and concept with direct guidance.
